Bolków Castle

One of the most distinctive fortresses in Lower Silesia. Bolków Castle, built in the 13th century during the reign of Bolko I, still impresses with its massive walls and unique tower. Over the centuries, it served as a strategic defense point, treasury, and residence, passing into the hands of the Piasts, Czechs, and the Cistercian order. Today, it houses a museum and a Knightly Brotherhood that organizes tournaments and historical events.
